HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
Our Healthcare Assistants (HCA's) help clients to leave the hospital as soon as practicably possible and to safely transition back to living at home as independently as possible. Your role will include visiting our clients in their own homes and providing appropriate care and support as defined in their individual Care Plans. This will include aspects of personal care, administering medication, monitoring of vital signs, exercise, and activity.
The aim is to rehabilitate and support their potential, to support and enable Service Users in a range of activities to promote independent living and monitor their well-being.
Shift patterns will vary, on a pro-rata basis. You will be working primarily with clients within the Merton & Sutton areas. Due to the nature of the role, it is preferred you have access to your own vehicle, but this is not mandatory.
Salary: £10-£11 per hour (DOE)
CARE VOLUNTEER
At Rosehill Care we are looking for volunteers to take on the role to be a befriender and support our clients aged over 60 to improve their quality of life. We are looking for kind, warm, and caring individuals who will look forward to engaging our elderly clients in activities, as well as provide general companionship so they do not feel isolated within their local community.
We are looking for a Befriending Volunteer to support people in their homes with various activities.
Main Tasks:
To buddy with our elderly clients living in Merton & Sutton and support them to attend activities in their local community.
To support clients to improve their social life if housebound but coaching in digital skills.
To provide information about other services and signposting when appropriate.
To attend and participate in supervision and training.
To provide care and companionship services to our range of clients.
